Monkshood has crown rot.

Finally figured out what is wrong with the Monkshood. Same problem every year...start off great...then start to die out.  Took a good look at the plants today and dead stems and found fungus at the bottom. Quick search on Google...found out they have crown rot. So it makes me very unhappy but they have to go. Fortunately not all plants are affected so I'll keep an eye on those and get rid of infected plants.  Monkshood is one my favorites...would be very unhappy if I couldn't grow it at all.
